Firearm Deals on Handguns, Rifles & Shotguns

Some of the best firearm buys are not tied to a specific holiday or promotional event. They come from changing inventory, discontinued configurations, manufacturer transitions, overstock, limited allocations and opportunities to purchase certain models below their normal selling price.

Botach's Firearm Deals category brings those opportunities together in one place. The selection can include discounted handguns, rifles, shotguns, closeout firearms and limited-quantity offers from established firearm manufacturers. Inventory changes frequently, and some models may only remain available at the listed price until the current stock is gone.

What You May Find in Our Gun Deals

The value of a firearm deal depends on more than the percentage shown next to the price. In many cases, the more important question is why that particular model or configuration is being discounted.

Firearms may appear in this category for several reasons:

• Overstock: Additional inventory may allow us to offer certain models at a lower price.
• Discontinued Models or Configurations: A manufacturer may replace a SKU, finish, barrel length or package even though the existing firearm remains a current and useful platform.
• Model-Year or Generation Changes: When manufacturers introduce updated versions, remaining inventory of the previous configuration can become a strong value for buyers who do not need the newest revision.
• Closeout Inventory: Remaining quantities of particular firearms may be reduced to make room for different products or configurations.
• Limited Purchases: Certain pricing may come from inventory that is available only in a fixed quantity.
• Manufacturer Promotions: Some firearms may qualify for temporary promotional pricing or manufacturer-supported offers.

Not every discounted firearm is being replaced because something is wrong with it. A change in packaging, finish, included accessories or manufacturer SKU can create a pricing opportunity even when the underlying firearm remains largely unchanged.

Handgun Deals

Our handgun deals may include full-size pistols, compact and subcompact handguns, revolvers, optics-ready models and other configurations depending on available inventory.

When comparing discounted pistols, look beyond the model family. Manufacturers frequently offer the same handgun with different sight systems, magazine capacities, optic cuts, barrel lengths, finishes and included accessories. A heavily discounted configuration can be an excellent buy when those features match what you actually want, but a lower price does not automatically make one version a better fit than another.

Rifle Deals

Rifle deals can include AR-platform rifles, bolt-action rifles, semi-automatic rifles and other long guns as inventory becomes available.

Configuration matters particularly when comparing rifles. Barrel length, chambering, gas system, furniture, handguard, muzzle device, stock configuration and included sights can materially change both the intended use and normal market price of two rifles carrying the same basic model name.

For buyers comparing several discounted rifles, the exact manufacturer part number is often more useful than the headline model name alone.

Shotgun Deals

Shotgun deals may include pump-action, semi-automatic and other configurations for sporting, defensive and general-purpose applications.

Pay close attention to gauge, chamber length, barrel length, capacity, stock configuration and included choke system where applicable. Small configuration differences can substantially affect how otherwise similar shotguns are equipped and used.

Clearance Firearms & Discontinued Models

A clearance firearm is not automatically a used, damaged or inferior firearm. In many cases, clearance pricing simply reflects inventory strategy.

Manufacturers continually update product lines. A new SKU may add an optic cut, change a finish, replace a sight package or alter the accessories included in the box. Retailers and distributors may then reduce the remaining previous configuration.

For buyers who understand the differences between the old and new versions, these transitions can create some of the most interesting firearm deals available.

How to Compare Firearm Deals

Price should be part of the decision, but it should not be the only comparison point. Before purchasing a discounted firearm, verify the exact configuration and consider what you would otherwise need to add or replace after the purchase.

Useful comparison points include:

• Exact manufacturer model and part number
• Caliber or gauge
• Barrel length and configuration
• Magazine capacity
• Number of magazines included
• Optics-ready or factory optic configuration
• Factory sights
• Threaded or non-threaded barrel where applicable
• Stock, grip and handguard configuration
• Finish or color
• Included case, accessories or factory package

A firearm priced slightly higher can sometimes represent the better overall value if it includes magazines, sights, an optic-ready slide or other equipment you were already planning to purchase separately.

Watch the Exact SKU, Not Just the Model Name

This is especially important when shopping firearm sales online. Major firearm families can have dozens of active and discontinued SKUs that look nearly identical in a product title.

Two versions of the same pistol or rifle may differ in capacity, barrel threading, sight height, optic compatibility, magazine type or included equipment. Checking the manufacturer's part number and the specifications on the individual product page helps prevent comparing two configurations as though they were the same firearm.

Limited-Quantity Gun Deals

Many of the firearms listed here are tied directly to available inventory. Once a closeout, overstock purchase or discontinued SKU sells through, we may not be able to replenish it at the same cost.

For that reason, this category will not always contain the same products. Firearms can be added or removed as inventory and pricing change.

If you have been waiting for a particular handgun, rifle or shotgun, it can be worth checking this page periodically rather than assuming the same discounted configuration will still be available later.

Buying a Firearm Online

Before ordering, review the individual firearm listing carefully for the exact model, specifications, condition and included equipment.

Firearm purchases and transfers must comply with applicable federal, state and local laws. Certain firearm configurations, magazine capacities or features may not be legal in every jurisdiction, and additional restrictions can apply depending on where the firearm will ultimately be transferred or possessed.

Availability on this page should not be interpreted as confirmation that a particular firearm is legal in every state or locality.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why are some firearms discounted more heavily than others?

Discounts can result from overstock, discontinued SKUs, manufacturer product changes, closeouts, promotional programs or limited inventory purchases. A larger discount does not necessarily indicate a difference in firearm quality or condition.

Are clearance firearms used?

Not necessarily. Clearance refers to how the inventory is being sold rather than automatically describing its condition. Check the individual product page for the stated condition of each firearm.

Is a discontinued firearm a bad purchase?

Not inherently. Manufacturers discontinue firearm configurations for many reasons, including new generations, updated finishes, revised accessories or SKU consolidation. The important question is whether the specific configuration meets your needs and whether replacement parts, magazines and accessories remain appropriate for the platform.

Why should I compare firearm part numbers?

The same firearm family can contain multiple configurations with different barrel lengths, capacities, sights, optic cuts, finishes and accessories. The manufacturer's exact part number helps identify which version you are actually comparing.

Do firearm deal prices change?

They can. Pricing may depend on remaining inventory, manufacturer promotions, replacement models or limited purchases. Some deals may end when the available quantity is sold.

Does a newer firearm generation always make the previous generation obsolete?

No. A new generation may introduce meaningful mechanical changes, or it may simply alter ergonomics, optics compatibility, controls, finishes or factory accessories. Buyers should compare the actual changes rather than assuming the newest version is automatically the best value for every use.

Why should I check Botach's Firearm Deals page regularly?

Botach's firearm deal inventory changes as new closeouts, overstock purchases, discontinued models and limited-quantity opportunities become available. Some offers may only be available until the current inventory sells through, so the selection can change significantly over time.

Are the firearm deals on Botach the same as the firearms in the regular catalog?

Not always. The Firearm Deals category is intended to highlight specially priced firearms, closeouts, discontinued configurations and other limited opportunities. Some models may also appear elsewhere on Botach, but this page focuses specifically on firearms currently being offered at deal pricing.
